Yotam Kamin
Developer. Designer. Former dairy farmer. Current vegan. Surgical assistant. Perpetually curious.
I work in operating rooms at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv - an environment where precision isn't optional and things need to work the first time. Before that I spent sixteen years in dairy farming, then moved through veterinary work and printing.
Somewhere between night shifts and bicycle commutes I taught myself to code. Node.js first, then SASS, Linux, and now Python.
I care about how things look as much as how they work. Colorful, considered, intentional design. Typography that earns its place. Interfaces that don't make people feel stupid.
My reading list runs from Dune to Murderbot, from Akira to Hitchhiker's Guide - which probably explains both the attention to systems thinking and the general outlook on humanity.
I arrived at all of this the long way around. I'm convinced that's an advantage.
